As the Clinic Director, Sarah is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care while leading her team with a commitment to excellence. She ensures that every patient receives personalized, evidence-based treatment in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Sarah earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University, where she also completed her undergraduate studies. With a passion for helping patients achieve optimal movement and function, she has developed expertise in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, from chronic pain to sports injuries.
A highly skilled manual therapist, Sarah specializes in techniques that promote mobility, reduce pain, and restore correct movement patterns. She frequently incorporates Muscle Energy Technique (MET), a powerful approach that engages the body’s own muscles to improve alignment and function. Additionally, she is well-versed in Postural Restoration (PRI), a method that examines how habitual movement patterns and postural imbalances may contribute to pain and dysfunction. Sarah also has expertise in orthotics, specializing in custom foot orthotic assessments and fittings. She understands the critical role that foot mechanics play in overall body alignment and movement, and she carefully evaluates each patient’s needs to provide orthotic solutions that improve stability, reduce pain, and enhance performance. Dr. Allen is the owner of BioMechanic Physical Therapy. Her Doctorate is from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. She also holds a Master's in Physical Therapy from Temple University. Her undergraduate work includes a BS in Zoology and a BA in Studio Art obtained simultaneously from the University of Maryland at College Park.
She has specialized in Foot & Ankle physical therapy for 19 years and works with adults and children. Spine (including scoliosis and sacroiliac pain) is also a favorite.

Julianne is a manual-based orthopedic physical therapist with nine years of experience. She treats pediatric patients in addition to treating general and sports orthopedics, TMJ, vestibular problems and geriatrics. Julianne is also certified in Dry Needling, which is a very popular technique used to treat muscle spasm and complex movement problems. She also holds training in Mulligan, McKenzie, Maitland and also makes custom foot orthoses.
Dr. Cusick obtained her Doctorate from Shenandoah University (Yes! A classmate of our own Dr. Sarah Donahue) and her Undergraduate degree was a BS from Emory and Henry College where she graduated Cum Laude.
We congratulate her for receiving an award from the Virginia PT Association for 'Expanding Traditional Physical Therapy to adaptive Sport'. Julianne now lives in Sterling with her husband and child.

Dr. Franklin graduated from Temple University in 2009 with her Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is an experienced manual therapist who has a particular interest in whole body wellness and Postural Restoration.
Amelia has been with BioMechanic since August of 2011 – but with a gap in between to build her family and professional experience.
Amelia’s personal philosophy is that outpatient wellness should empower women and encourages the healthy mind, body, and spirit of clients. She is married to a wonderful man (her high school sweetheart) and has 2 children!
Dr. Aditi has been with us since 2019 and brings with her more than a decade of knowledge and expertise. Aditi is passionate about helping her patients live their best lives, free from pain and limitations. Born in New Delhi, India, she has advanced skills in orthopedic and neurological conditions, holding specialty certifications in orthopedic manual therapy(COMT) and Dry Needling (CMTPT) in addition to utilizing Maitland joint mobilization techniques, IASTM, and muscle/joint taping to improve tissue loading and joint mechanics.
Aditi earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in Virginia, following her BS in Physical Therapy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bangalore, India. She finds motivation in BioMechanic Physical Therapy’s fun patient population and thrives in the light-hearted atmosphere created by her spirited colleagues.
Beyond the clinic, Aditi is a lover of the arts, dabbling in wheel-thrown pottery, cooking, baking, gardening, and writing. She is also our editor-in-chief at the office! So if we ever have a writing question, she is our go-to!

Bill Fetterolf is well known as one of the top physical therapists in Virginia Beach, adding more than 20 years of experience to our Oceanfront location. He is a tried and true manual therapist who has specialized in orthopedic rehab for most of his career. Bill works with patients who are post-surgery, post-injury or experiencing new onset or chronic pain. Bill is McKenzie certified for managing back pain due to bulging or herniated discs.
Bill received his Master's in Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor's in Philosophy. His philosophy on PT is that you do not need to experience pain in PT to achieve gains.
Meghan received her Bachelors Degree from James Madison University and Associates of Applied Science from Tidewater Community College to become an LPTA. Meghan has treated a wide variety of diagnoses, with a strong emphasis on low back pain and orthopedic rehab. She has formal training and successful experience in Vestibular Rehab.
When Meghan is not working, she enjoys spending time with her twin girls, surfing, and being outdoors.
Devon earned his B.S. in Health Sciences & Philosophy from Moravian College and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Messiah University. With a deep commitment to patient care, he takes a meticulous, detail-oriented approach to every treatment plan.
As an avid runner, Devon combines his personal passion with his professional expertise to help patients achieve optimal recovery and performance. His specialized skills in balance and gait, return to running, low back and hip pain.

Tara attended Marymount University where she received her doctorate in physical therapy . She specializes in working with the spine but is also highly trained in the treatment of many other orthopedic injuries. Tara has a strong passion for helping her patients build and maintain an active lifestyle, along with getting them back to the hobbies they love. She loves cooking and baking, trying new restaurants and spending time outside.
Sarah received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University and attended the same for undergrad. She is an excellent manual therapist who is adept at treating all areas of the body. She often uses Muscle Energy Technique (MET), the most powerful tool for treating back, neck, and sacroiliac pain and dysfunction. Sarah also practices Postural Restoration, also known as PRI, a technique that addresses how habits may be sabotaging you. Sarah is also a clinical instructor at Shenandoah University at their Northern Virginia Physical Therapy campus.
